I think I’m doing something wrong..
So I went to the mall today and got each kid two Jibbitz for their Crocs. They didn’t have any yet and I had been wanting to get them a few but hadn’t had time to find the right ones and pay for them before my kids de-racked four hundred pairs of shoes. Upon returning home I proudly presented each child with one Thomas and one Mickey Mouse. This is the reaction I got:
The Weebles wailed and threw herself on the floor because she couldn’t have all four of them and also because she needed many many more because she had seen other kids with their Crocs filled with them.
The Peanut frantically tried to get his off his Crocs and had a meltdown because he couldn’t free Thomas from his shoe prison.
No good deed goes unpunished.

I had to laugh at this. It is exactly what living with two little ones is like. There are so many times that I’ll get excited about doing something for, or getting something for Gia and once she see’s it, bursts into tears…leaving me baffled.
